Hey, hier ne Liste, was Hund beherrschen sollte, BEVOR man mit Springen/ Jumpwork im Agility beginnt:
*Attention and focus.
*Recall command is reliable (doesn't have to be perfect - yet; but reliable most of the time)
*Dog gladly accepts both food rewards and play. Goal is food-to-play; play-to-food.
*Sit-Stay/or Down-Stay, or Stand-Stay :-). Your preference ~ just make sure dog is happy to perform. You will need this if you ever plan to lead-out.
*Verbal release. Enthusiastic release on verbal cue only.
*Targeting. Dog will drive to a target.
*Cone work.
*Retrieve - your job will be much easier if your dog is happy to retrieve a toy or food tube.
*Side line up (on either side).
*Rear-end conditioning and coordination games such as perch work, swing, back up, ladder work.
*Fit-disc or pilates for pooches (conditioning)
*Tricks that promote conditioning conducive to jumping such as "sit-pretty", "dance", "rollover", spins, rock backs, etc
*Overall conditioning: Walk, hikes, runs, swimming.
*Handling on the flat: Front cross, post turn/pull, serpentines, threadles, acceleration and deceleration.
