Even to get to dog competitions / training ?
It depends on the part of the town where you live. Training is possible in the City if have some agility equipment. There are some places with a fence around only for dogs, their owners, for training and contact. These are not clubs ore schools. you don't have to pay and you can go there everytime. (I don't know the English word for it) Some of this places have some some agility equipment. It isn't competion stuff but maybe it is enough for the everyday training.

Oh, I think I get your idea. That sounds very interesting !
And then, there I will meet agility people and they will be able to tell me more about competitions and/or more training there. -
You got it.
By the way, I saw your tricks 2010-video. Great. It seems your dog is more intelligent than a lot of students and maybe you get the permission to bring him wih yout into the seminars.

Maybe your dog learns to hold a pencil or to look into a book. This would be enouth to appear like a student. Most of them do so.

the university in würzburg (http://www.uni-wuerzburg.de) ist also taking part in erasmus. dogs are allowed on the campus and you can also bring them to classes, but they are not allowed in the official student accomodations.
you can get to the agility training by public transport but of course that will take longer than going by car. in würzburg you don't have to pay for the dog though and students get a ticket for public transport for one semester anyway.
many classes and lectures are held in english and there are also extra courses for erasmus students. -
Waw !!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds amazingly PERFECT !!!!!!!! and I've just found it, there is exactly MY course in that uni !!! I can't believe it !!!!!!!!!! Wawou....
Thank you so much for your precious help FLing, I will have a very close look on their website as soon as I get home tonight.
Thank you!!!!!!!!

And this ist the place to look for other dog owners in Würzburg, if you want to walk Speedy together with some other dogs and their owners. Maybe they can help you with accomodation, too, when the time comes.
